Well we have been out walking in an area we don’t go to very much but it was great as the whole family, all five of us came along. Curly-Human as usual was the most reluctant. The call of the Internet & TV on these last days of summer and school holidays far outweighed the call of the wild! In compensation we walked she rode her bike! For me it’s just so good to have my flock… er… pack back together again.
Come on Curley-Human, get off the bike there’s a Meces to be had down there…
You Humans are so slow. Will ya chuck me ball already!
Come on Princess-Human you can do it, just a little kick now. You’re getting close… Yes I know it’s a bit slobbery and ghizzy but that the best part!
Ahhh, there’s our little village coming into view. Nearly home. Can we do it again?
What! You guys got ice-creams? That’s mine that one, hand it over Curly…

Sadly my holidays this summer have been strangely lacking. Last year we went to Croatia and Italy, here are a few holiday snaps I stole from my Humans photo stash to make up for it…
Me near Dubrovnik thinking of how I can get to see Italy.
Me heading for Italy…
Just joking. Its rather nice here and we are going to Venice later.
That lunch looks rather good, must be for me then…
Captain of the boat, that’s me!
And yep I got to go to Venice too. These gondolas are so cool.
I could swim that…
Now back to reality eh? I spotted my Humans packing for a trip somewhere. What’s that all about? They are taking another dog and me fav ball! This is not good…
A few days later I spot these snaps sent back home from California…
And it didn’t end there either! Look at these snaps from my Humans, obviously now in Brussels as this looks like the Grand Place if I’m not mistaken. My stand-in is getting all the fun, not me woe…
But my misery was to continue… These snaps came from Exmoor, North Devon in England!
They saw horses and everything, I bet there were sheep there too. My favorite of course!
My Humans had a great holiday without me and with a stand-in dog too.
Here’s a few snaps now of me when they got home a few days ago. I was not taking my eyes off em for a second. God knows where they will turn up next!
Well I cant be too harsh on my Humans, I had Stand-in Humans who were soooo good to me while my family was away.

Sorry guys I have not been a great blogger over the last month.
This is not because I have not had anything to say you understand! It’s been a busy month.
First, don’t get me started on the Internet in Germany. Where we live which is only about 30km from Frankfurt our Internet is slower that what my Humans call Dial-Up. Don’t know what that is but it sounds slooow. Then it stopped working completely for two weeks! I thought I was frustrated, not being able to get my paws on a keyboard and all but you should have seen the steam coming out of the ears of Curly-Human and Princess-Human!!!
In the end my Humans decided it was time to go on holiday but they bloody well left me behind! I always go on holiday with them…
Even worse was they had some friends house-sitting for them and looking after me! There was a good-side though, my new Humans spoilt me with walks and LOTS of ball throwing, I got to sit on the sofa and eat treats and everything… Heh heh, perhaps I will bark at my family when they get home, pretend I don’t know them eh? I have my new Humans now.
Actually perhaps not, these new Humans are tiring me out, they go for walks really early in the morning and I’m just not a morning dog. Then they even have repeat walks during the day! Way too much for me, I have a new trick I use where I limp a bit to pretend I have a sore paw and cannot possible go out, works a treat! They are pretty cool though, just need a bit of further training from me…
My family are due home any day now. Secretly I really miss them and can’t wait to hear their stories and get back into my regular routines and blogging
